We were pleased and delighted with the coordination provided by Mayworks Festival at our July 4th rally and concert staged in a clover field across from a proposed dumpsite in Simcoe County, ON. Our partnership with CUPE Ontario and Mayworks Festival was pivotal in building awareness to victory in halting the site and saving Canada’s most pristine groundwater deposits! The participation of Mayworks was extremely helpful.
Maude Barlow, Council of Canadians

CUPE has asked Mayworks to coordinate the cultural program at our last two national conventions, as well as at our national women's bargaining conference.  It's been a great experience in every way. Mayworks brings solid expertise, experience and professionalism to this important component of our collective experience as workers. And CUPE staff and members have totally appreciated the wonderful music, poetry and art that has come to us from working with Mayworks.
Cathy Remus, CUPE Education Officer

[The CAW was] really excited to have Mayworks coordinate and support our CAW Youth Conference. Our coordinator put together a ‘Poetry Slam’ event which included a number of young artists. We felt confident that Mayworks would create a program that was socially relevant, entertaining and engaging - judging by the tremendous feedback that we received from our membership – Mayworks delivered!
Robin Fairchild, CAW National Representative
